The Digital Infrared Simultaneous Interpretation System is a voice conference system designed for meetings that require translation services in multiple languages. It utilizes infrared light radiation transmission, as infrared transmission has a shorter wavelength and weaker penetration power, providing a certain level of confidentiality when transmitting voices in space. The system mainly consists of a host unit, transmission panels, receivers, and interpretation units. During a conference, interpreters need to provide simultaneous interpretation of the speakers' speeches. These interpreted voices are processed by the host and then transmitted by the transmission panels. Conference delegates can select the language appropriate for them and listen through headphones via the receivers. The system can also be used for the dissemination of music.
